Oh My Kaju is a premium flavoured cashew brand offering a diverse range of flavours crafted around the humble kaju. As part of a complete Oh My Kaju brand identity project, White Warbler Communications delivered a Konkan cashew brand design rooted in the region's GI-tagged heritage. The brand required an Oh My Kaju logo design and packaging that felt unique and contemporary, while staying true to its Konkan coastal origins in Maharashtra.
Challenges
The challenge was to position the brand for a modern audience through thoughtful food brand identity design, while staying rooted in its Konkan origins as a GI cashew brand design. With the product available across multiple flavours, the key task was to create a cashew brand logo design and packaging system that felt distinct and cohesive across the range, without compromising on the brand's authentic, place-based identity.
Solution
Rather than centering the design around the cashew nut itself, White Warbler Communications drew inspiration from the cashew apple, an element often overlooked, yet core to the brand's story. Using the distinctive silhouette of the cashew apple alongside bold typography, the team crafted a premium nut brand design that felt fresh and unmistakably Oh My Kaju
